Eh, personally, I don't see the connection (Greg is waaaaaay too mean to Rowley for me to see them as Aziraphale and Crowly) but the mental image is amusing, so, major points for that. XD

And this is only tangentially related, but am I the only one who thinks that the Diary of A Wimpy Kid series is an example of one of those rare occasions where the movie adaptation FAR outstrips the original source? Because DAMN. I'll prolly get laughed right out of this comm, but the "Rodrick Rules" movie punched me RIGHT in the sibling feels. Guh.

My main issue is the fact that some people get really angry if you say "I don't like the beatles". Like you can not like music if you don't like them. They like all of the bands they influenced were influenced by other bands themselves. They performed other peoples work, they released Covers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_covered_by_the_Beatles).
They were a band. They were influential. But being a fan is not compulsory. I'd much rather stick with the Rolling Stones.

Clearly my computer fails and posted the wrong place.. how? I do not know

were they ever really younger though? like, when they were still in their heavenly forms did God create them as babies or something?

I'm not framiliar with this so... sure, why not? One quibble, though: Crowley and Aziraphael were never "young" like this. They were present at creation and don't have real bodies.

As a couple of people above me have said, the only problem I see with this is that Aziraphale and Crowley, being angels, were never really 'younger' in the physical sense. Experience-wise, they did seem to go through a kind of growing up (you could view the whole Rebellion thing as Crowley's college protest phase, for example, with the attendant regret-it-forever-after), but it's as easily explained as the adult process of gaining experience too.

I don't see cause for outrage, no. It's just that the idea of angels as kids to start with is rather strange, is all.

Agreeing with everyone above when I say I can't picture A/C as kids.

Now Greg as Adam...that merits some consideration.
