yet, but that's what I gleaned from the trailers, and that's what pissed me off the most. In the book, the 1939 movie, Maguire's novel, and the musical Wicked, all of the female characters are very active and not actually dependent on the Wizard (well, Dorothy thinks she needs his help, but finds out that she doesn't). In fact, the witches are far more powerful than he is, so it sucks that they apparently suddenly revolve around him.
