Ah, I understand what you're saying now. The comparison to straight people "realizing" they're straight is what threw me, because it's not something they really have to think about, whereas I had to think about my sexuality for years to come to any solid conclusions.

I don't really have a "when" or a "how" moment either--like I said, it was a process. I nearly wrote a novel trying to answer the OP and had to erase my whole comment and start over. It's definitely not the most accurate way to phrase the question, but it doesn't really phase me when people ask.
