Re: Need to sort out my priorities

Break everything down into small pieces. I'm not, like, the height of organized (take my house...please) but whenever I'm tackling a BIG JOB (usually for work), and I start to slide down that dry-heaves-where-do-I-even-hope-to-begin slippery slope, I ask myself the following questions:

1. What needs to be done/do I have the time to do RIGHT NOW?

Even if it's as trivial as "sort out one pile of papers" or "pack one box of things I will not need until after I move" (i.e., knickknacks, the good dishes, what have you), just doing that one task should (hopefully) make you feel better.

After you do that, repeat step 1.

It works for me most of the time anyway. Best of luck, anon!
