mte. I'm Asian, and I sort of feel guilty that I didn't take offence at the whole yellowface deal? I think they did things with the movie that wasn't there (so much) in the book, and it worked because they used the same actors for them. I.e. the scenes where Ewing comes back to his wife (Doona Bae) and tells his father-in-law that he's going to join the Abolitionists work better with cutaway scenes from Sonmi451's execution, which happened because she went against Unanimity. So I guess one needs to have context before judging?
