I've seen the movie before having read all the wank about it because I love stuff that has to do with the Oz stories and I came out hating it.
It was like Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp, but without Johnny Depp and even more bad ideas and performances. The world looked great but had no heart, no depth.

And James Franco as the wizard was PERFECTLY cast because the character IS a smug asshole and Franco has mastered smarmy smug-face *g*
