The Weiss Side B fandom is tiny. Text translations can be found at this site (http://www.kindachi.com/sideb.html), they have every chapter translated except the latest one (which they'll eventually do) and four in the middle.

will they get around to doing the four in the middle? not sure how having an incomplete translation does fans much good if they miss out on something that could be important.

and are there even page scans? text translations mean very little if we have no idea what the text is referring to in context.

I have no clue if they'll ever do those four missing chapters. However four chapters is nothing compared to some series which are missing multiple volumes (Getbackers, Reborn!, Ouran, I'm looking at you).

And yes, there are raw scans of every chapter. They can be found at this site (http://www.weisskreuzsideb.com/) under 'Manga'.

But, but there are loads of Reborn translations that make up for the difference~~ Not all of it, but a considerable number of chapters that haven't been scanlated have already been translated :) Actually, I think only two chapters are currently not translated at the moment.

For their sake, I hope that person is fluent in Japanese, has enough money to import all merch that gets scanned, and if they watch the anime I hope they can somehow mental link with the Japanese tv station when it airs. Lulz.

Oh, that's awesome. Thank you so much for the link! Almost feels a bit nostalgic; it's been ages since I last printed a text translation to read with alongside an actual tankoubon.

But I gotta say, I'm surprised that no one has done a scanlation yet. It doesn't seem like the translator is averse to one, at least judging from the FAQ. Maybe that's why the fandom is so tiny? Fans can be really lazy sometimes -- so lack of easy accessible scanlations might be a deterrent.
