Could be better. I was having a good day up until my stepmother emailed me to tell me my cat was put to sleep. (He was very old and had cancer and some thyroid problems.)

That cat never liked me in the least, but I loved him anyway, so I've been kind of crying on and off.

Fortunately I have a really great fiance, who managed to lure his own cat out of the closet so I could pet and hug her for awhile, and offered his shoulder to cry on.
