Sometimes, if I absolutely cannot come up with a summary, I pick a line/quote that I think represents the fic. Or just a very short, somewhat cryptic sentence.

You should just come ask when you can't come up with a summary, because random quotes are the worst. Good hooks, but poor summaries (I usually include both, a summary and then a quote in place of the link text on communities.)
