Re: Laugh tracks, how do you feel about them?

I honestly don't even notice them. I've had several conversations with my brother where I was telling him about a new comedy I liked and he asked if it had a laugh track and I couldn't even tell him since I've gotten so good at tuning them out.

Same. I've been sitting here running through a list of sitcoms in my head trying to remember whether or not they had a laugh track/studio audience or not and I'm completely clueless.

Friends and Frasier did, right? Father Ted didn't? Pretty sure Ab Fab did, but does it have canned laughter on the parts that aren't filmed in the studio? Cannot for the life of me remember.

In fact I just watched a clip of Father Ted and it does have a laugh track, so my memory is not to be trusted at all. I feel there's a game in here somewhere - possibly for long car journeys where everyone ends up in a fight.
