(Anonymous) 2013-03-26 11:26 am (UTC)(link)No, YOU'RE ridiculous. It's fine to like a character, but that doesn't mean you have to be ignorant of his faults. I like Scott just fine and can freely admit that he does the stupidest shit. And you can't even blame it entirely on his age because Stiles (who is also pretty stupid, just in different ways-- i.e., wanting to search the woods for a dead body, JFC) is still, for the most part, able to see the bigger picture. To Scott, the bigger picture is pretty much Allison and his own happiness.

It's been a while since I watched the show, but I don't remember Scott being the one pulling the spectacularly dumb shit. That was mostly Derek.
