I was kind of surprised how no one talked about Toothianna much, but I have little qualm with people complaining about that part of Brave. What I love is how the white people who are so used to seeing them and only them in movies like this cry over "historical accuracy!!".

Tell me what part of history did magic actually happen and people turned into bears, because we need to bring that back.

I think the Toothiana thing is so much worse though tbh. You have a canonically non-white character there, after all. Plus RotG was hella white anyway despite taking place in an indisputably very diverse time period (i.e. now). And hella male.

I'm not saying that people can't complain about that re: Brave, but yeah.

I felt the same way...even though her book came out a month prior to the movie, the author didn't correct them before? She wasn't mentioned in any of the prior books (I've yet to read them)?
