You obviously do not deal with anxiety of this kind, so please stop talking.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
And that's just a damn untruth. You don't know me.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
How dare you? You don't know me! *flail* *tantrum*

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
DA

Wow, what a delicate soul you must be if you think THAT was a flaily tantrum. Are you one of those millenials who think anybody that isn't talking to you like you're god's gift to the world is "yelling" at you?

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
How is "you don't know me" not the sign of a tantrum? I mean, seriously.

If you wanna spout bizarre new age crap about "millenials," then there are quite a few other candidates here (yourself included, since you seem to be so sensitive that you freak out when other people are questioned. That is, if you're even truly a "different anon").

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
BB, "you don't know me." is just a statement. From someone who was behaving as if they knew the OC. And you've answered my question for me if, again, you think the above was "freak out."

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
That's strange. It seems to me that declaring that someone must be a "delicate soul" and saying things such as "[you] think anybody that isn't talking to you like you're god's gift to the world is 'yelling' at you" are both signs of anger. And, considering the context, getting angry seems a hell of a lot like freaking out.

The mere suggestion that "you don't know me" might be a tantrum has led you to assume that a person must not only be arrogant, but also incapable of taking criticism and under the impression that s/he is a special snowflake. What exactly makes you any better, given the extent to which you're acting as if you know said anon? And what exactly makes you different from these so called "millenials" if you respond with such vitriol to someone who wasn't even talking to you?

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
DA

I'm having a hard time believing any of you deal with social anxiety, because guess what? You're interacting. Being social.

If you want to put fic out there or whatever, get a damn sock and shut the fuck up already.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
How do you know anyone here actually deals with social anxiety? It could all be a bunch of trolls.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
As the person who's been told I should be suicidal, jobless, and homeless and who clearly doesn't know what I'm talking about it, I do deal with some pretty ugly anxiety. I've just reached a point where it doesn't follow me to places that allow me to remain 100 percent anon or don't, actually, demand a response.

So, disagreeing with your first half, but generally with you on the second.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
Prove it. Sign in.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
Prove what, exactly?

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
That you've enlightened yourself and that you can just use a sock to deal with your anxiety.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but that would require making a sock, and I'm not that invested.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
Or, in other words, you're too anxious to shed the cloud of anonymity.

It's okay. Bash the others all you want if it makes you feel better. Some day, you'll live up to your own ideals and stop being a coward.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Coward. Lazy. Not the same thing.

And my statement only equals your statement if you're stupid.

Sorry that one anon said those things to you and even though you have been pretty judgy and a jerk in this thread that does not give them an excuse to say that. No one deserves that.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
Having social anxiety does not mean you do not interact with anyone in any way at all. Some things are okay. Some days are okay. Some days are not.

Some days I post here signed in, some days when my anxiety is up I post anon, and some days when it's really bad I lurk. Everybody, everyday, every situation, is different.

And having a sock account does not get rid of the anxiety. So shut the fuck up already.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Some days I post here signed in, some days when my anxiety is up I post anon, and some days when it's really bad I lurk.

I used to post signed in all the time. Then I had a bad attack of the anxieties and constantly lurked instead. Now I just post in various places as an anon, which I do consider progress of a sort.

But with regard to F!S it also doesn't help that since the change of the time of posting I miss all the interesting conversations and half the time I even forget to read the comm at all. By the time I remember to comment (like now) the post has moved on. So most of the time I just don't bother.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
Notice how we're all interacting and being social....anonymously? Almost as if we have some kind of, oh, anxiety about social interaction?

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
It's the internet. It's not like we can pick you out from a crowd based on your username, so that excuse is pure bullshit.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
So sign. In.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
Um, except you fucking can? I can tell how and when the users who post here with their names will reply. Like noodles will always reply in homestuck, otherwise they just reply as a troll is other threads. fauxkaren always has something to say on GoT and females characters.

I'm too lazy to continue but yeah, that point is complete bullshit.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
Dude, it's anxiety. Stop trying to use logic.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-28 11:50 am (UTC)(link)
This. I once cried when coming home from the grocery store because another customer had asked me what fennel was and I'd told him it was a vegetable but neglected to tell him what it looked like, which in my mind at the time was proof that I was a terrible person who shouldn't ever talk to people. The absurdness of that conclusion didn't make it any less upsetting while it was happening.
