No, he doesn't. He's a terrible actor and he comes across as smug all time. I wish they'd cast the kid who played kid Owen as Henry or another kid actor who has actual talent. He's not up to it. Shut up until you've seen all the eps.

I think the actor does a good job of playing a cute, quirky, frequently confused but generally hopeful kid.

I don't get smug vibes from him at all, but then that's an issue of personal mileage. (Noah Wyle, Aaron Ashmore, and Dana Delaney, I'm looking at you.)
