I adore Kenneth Branagh as Henry V.

Have you seen Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet? Kenneth Branagh's is an extraordinary Hamlet, isn't it? Quite exquisite. The things he does with his Hamlet beggars belief.

Walken is far too old to be Hal. Hal is a young man when he takes the throne, and he's a young man when he dies. There's probably a reason no-one shares your fancasting.

I never seen this show/movie (or either of them if it's two), but I have to say Christopher Walken looks very attractive and compelling here. Soulful. On top of that he's a good actor, so I can see why you'd prefer to picture him as the character.

I rather detest Kenneth Branagh, but to be honest i just don't put much thought into who should play Henry V.

Really? Why, out of curiosity? I haven't heard anyone else express anything negative about him. He seems pretty well loved in fandom circles.

Oh, he's not done anything, i just don't like him. I've never really enjoyed his acting. I dunno. He just kind of grates.

But I'm quite fond of Tom Hiddleston too.

Tom Hiddleston is my Henry V, though that's probably because he's version is the only one I've ever seen.
