Well It's only a blogspot book, not published.

Just skimming it seems like a "I slept with you, and now you're my boss! Oh no and now we hate each other!"

but maybe it's good.

I'm not gonna automatically judge non-published as bad since I'm currently enjoying a series that's available free online (though it was also published).

Anyway, that doesn't sound particularly interesting, but maybe more context is needed.

I haven't been following it super closely because I'm not really into male-dom, but it's being written as a response to 50 Shades of Grey (by the woman who also writes the scathing and excellent recaps of 50 Shades at http://jennytrout.blogspot.com/p/jen-reads-50-shades-of-grey.html). Presumably she's doing a better job than Erica James.

I was underwhelmed. The writing is reasonably competent, but I couldn't get invested in either of the main characters, and the 1st person POV really doesn't work for me.

(I think a big chunk of my dislike is due to disappointed expectations, though. I first encountered the book in a recommendation to someone requesting m/f or f/f BDSM from the dom(me)'s POV. So I started the book thinking that the POV character was a baby domme who was going to start something sexy with her female boss, and a little later thought that she was an unconventional domme who'd had/was going to have something sexy with her new male boss, and only slowly resigned myself to the fact that, no, she was a sub and the person leaving the rec just hadn't read the post's subject line. Combine that disappointment with the fact that I also don't really care for male-dom het, and I was pretty decisively turned off the book.)

ugh that sucks. I usually stop reading from ruined expectations too. Also 1st person POV is a big turn-off in erotic fic regardless of other content.

eh... I've been lurking on her recaps and following the story. It's totally not my usual taste, but I've been enjoying it. I'd thought about posting a similar secret, but figured it'd be more effective to shove the book(site?) at my co-workers directly.
