I found it very odd that she was turned evil against her will and everyone just accepted it and moved on to fighting her. If they'd made a quick mention of the transformation being truly irrevocable I would have been fine with it, but they didn't. The only justification the movie seems to make for it is showing her having a bit of a temper, but having a temper doesn't make you naturally inclined to being wicked.
Only Oz seemed shocked by her transformation, and even he only said he'd welcome her back if she ever found her heart again instead of offering/asking if there was a way to help her.

I just wish Glinda or someone had bothered to find a cure for poor Theodora. I'll be miserable if the sequel ends with Dorothy killing her with a bucket of water.

Yes, the treatment of Theodora was what made me dislike what I would otherwise have seen as just an ok movie. I kept waiting for someone to feel pity for her or try to help her, and was very shocked when the movie ended without it ever happening.
So you missed the scene where Oz told her that if she were to renounce being wicked, she'd be welcomed back to the Emerald City, no harm, no foul?
