What's funny is, the first time we saw it I leaned over and whispered to Kittendaddy, "I could totally see Robert Downey Jr. in that role!".
I think he would've been tons better. I find James Franco to be kind of sleazy and scummy, TBH.

RDJ would have been fun. Heck, I'd take just about anyone else. Sam Rockwell would have been great. He can do likable rogue well.

Just bad casting. Reminds me of hiring Keaunu Reeves to play Jonathan Harker in Dracula bad. Nope. Nope. Nope. Not going to buy it.
Oh God, I'd forgotten about that. That was such horrible casting that I can't even imagine what they were thinking.
