Definitely was a lesson well learned. I try my best to not buy everything I like now and the fact that I need to start paying my own tuition and housing soon is really driving that one home. The shounen-ai isn't too bad but when it starts to get too sexual I back off. Not my cup of tea.

re 18-- op here. I was thinking more along the lines of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deaf-mute

I'm a very quiet person, so sometimes I really wish I either couldn't hear (and thus speak) or that something was wrong with my vocal chords and they prevented me from talking in some way. I mean, its not like I do a lot of talking anyway so. And I can't sing either so no loss there.

I'm not gonna go out of my way to damage these parts of me but I won't be devestated if it ever happens to me.
