4. Misa was only 19 which was only 3 years older than Hikaru. (Er, I guess that would be Rick Hunter and Lisa to the people who watched Robotech rather than Macross)

Two years and some months actually. Guess she was too mature. I don't think Hikaru was good for Minmay in a relationship anyway. She wasn't going to forsake her career for him.
