Avoiding fandom helps. That's what I did and I enjoyed the show. Even went on to read the novels.

But I'm of the opinion that if the fandom annoys you, you should avoid it :P

Yeah, I tend to avoid fandom 99% of the time with some the shows I'm into like Tenipuri and FMA. I was really disappointed by a lot of the stupid stuff I saw going on in those fandoms so I never really participate in communities or read fanfiction. It kind of sucks, actually. It would be nice to have some more friends to talk to about these shows.

Unfortunately, no one I know likes Higu, .hack, or Persona 3 either. :(

Exactly! D: I hate how there's so much wank going on about shows. I guess it's hard to agree to disagree. I love reading fanfics and communities, but yeah, I can't bring myself to participate in fear of being eaten up. )8 FMA! <3333 All I do now is post sporadic fanfics and run away. Assertive is not in my DNA :P

!!! I have a friend who loves all three of those and is fervent video game player (She also happens to be giving up sleep to finish .hack//G.U 3 right now)

Oh man, the wank is funny sometimes but it's not something I want to get involved with. The only fandom I read fanfiction for is Star Ocean 3, strangely enough. XD Everything else, I avoid. When I do look at communities I lurk.

Actually, I've been lurking on this community since May too. Never posted once till now. :)

AHHH, your friend is awesome then! I've never met anyone who liked all three. Maybe one but never the other two as well. Of course, anyone who likes .hack is also awesome in my book. >3 I'm only on .hack//G.U. 1 right now but my sister just ordered 2 and 3. Actually, I'm playing it as I type this comment even! Haha, I'm totally addicted to video games in general!

It's even more hilarious when they start trying to be bitches at each other and fail so horribly. 8D I mean, gee, people wage internet wars over silly things like pairings and shows. And they talk about how the internet is so full of drama :P STAR OCEAN 3

For some reason, I think she'd like you! She happens to be lovelysan but I'm never good at introducing people. *palmface* XD Oh man, I'm sorry I'm not into Higurashi! I'm into Persona, but haven't gotten 3 yet. My wallet CRIES. But yes, .hack! 8D I'm such a Kite fan that it blinds my flist from time to time. 2 and 3 will not disappoint either, I can promise you that ;)

Video games is my unobscured passion ;; I spend more time reading books and video gaming than doing schoolwork sometimes 8D;
