Nitpicky wet blanket answer:

Mary Magdalene isn't specified as a prostitute in the Bible, only to have been possessed by "seven demons" and cured by Jesus. The prostitute people refer to her as is the woman in Luke 7:36-50, who is also not called a prostitute but a "sinner." Mary's never connected to the other woman in the Bible, that was all done after-the-fact, possibly because of a mistake made when a Pope compared the two in 600.
