I have several friends who have had to have teeth pulled and dentures because of intersections with other health issues and teeth.

What my friends have said: Initially, it SUCKS. You're on a liquid diet for awhile, and on a high load of painkillers, because having all your teeth removed hurts. However, most of them have had really good luck afterwards with dentures, and have been amazed at the difference and lack of pain and ability to eat properly. (The one who has trouble is on Medicare and they refuse to pay for adjustments to her dentures, which were sized wrong.)
