Really, not one color of red would look good on you? There are all sorts of shades out there that flatter different skintones; you should get a second opinion.

If OP has an olive complexion pretty much any shade of red would look pretty unflattering.

I have an olive complexion and natural dark red hair and it looks fine on me!

Yeah, most of my family has the same colour, and even those with black or dark brown hair get a red tint in the sun. It's much more of a burgundy than carrot.

I have an olive complexion and went with purplish-red and loved it.

Of course, I also went with blue.

So maybe I just don't care if it clashes with my skin or not.
