I used to think darker skinned people could not pull off blonde (speaking as a darker person myself) and then came that honey-gold craze Beyonce and a few others had some years back. It might be obviously not the natural color but it complemented their skin tones nicely. I think it's just a matter of finding the right shade. Red can be crimson or carrot. There must be something for you out there.

It doesn't matter how dark your skin is, just the undertones.
