god I cannot deal with that pack mom crap. where the fuck did they get that from? honestly in show, most of the characters barely tolerate him, ignore him, or plain don't like him. in what world would isaac go to stiles for comfort, over scott no less?

I personally think it stemmed from Dylan O'Brien's relationship with the rest of the cast. They all kind of take care of him and love him because he's so insecure about a lot of things. The only thing I know they could have got the caretaker shit from was how Stiles freaks out over his Dad's health or Dylan O'Brien cooking dinner in that one Posey self cam interview(I've seen a few people write meta or those little fic things when they reblog gifs about that).

It honestly has nothing to do with Stiles himself.

Oh it's nothing big or obvious. Just small things like when he shits on his acting skills or had that insecure rant about his cold sores in S1 commentary, they always back him up and support him, call him amazing, etc. Just people take this way out of proportion and make him into some woobie insecure baby who constantly needs coddling and loving, and Hoechlin and such are just ~in love~ with him.
