Oh god, so agreed on the eyebrows. So many people forget the eyebrows, and it really does make a world of difference. I wince inwardly every time I see a bottle blond who is otherwise pulling the colour off quite well with dark eyebrows. At least lighten them. Sure many blond people have slightly darker brows or darken them artifically to make them stand out (because the brows of natural blonds can be almost invisible) but no one is buying your chocolate brown/black brows.

Also, it looks fucking terrible.

(When I dyed my hair black my light brown eyebrows were just appalling, too. Dyeing them black to match made it look 9000 times better.)

Huh. One of the things I loved when I bleached my hair was how much more it made me eyebrows stand out. Each to their own I guess.

Sorry, I didn't mean offense - I realize not everyone is going for the natural blonde look, some people like the clearly bottle blonde. But if one is going for the natural look, they reallllly ought to do the eyebrows.

I'm a natural blonde with naturally dark chocolate brown eyebrows and even darker lashes. It happens. I don't think it looks terrible or fake at all :/ My hair was platinum as a child and is now more of a honey with lighter (natural) highlights, but my brows have never been that pale, translucent blonde.

I personally hate the look of super light eyebrows.
I have dark blonde brows, and they're really annoying, even with platinum hair. I still end up filling them in darker with black pencil and / or mehron.

I don't really understand why anyone would have any reason to go to those lengths to hide their natural hair color, nowadays, because it's such a standard thing to dye it all sorts of colors.

Hahah, you're not the only one. My older brother has pale blond hair and his eyebrows are white. He looks browless in pictures and he hates it.

But it's a matter of aesthetics. I mean, you can't hide your natural hair colour, really - roots will show in a matter of weeks, or less. It's how the brows badly clash with the overall look, rather than trying to seem naturally blond (which they generally won't anyway, due to complexion, dark body hair, roots, etc.)

I tend to like dark brows with light hair, and absolutely HATE light brows with dark hair.

So I can kind of get what you're saying.

Hahah oh my paler eyebrows with dyed black hair looked terribad so I can only agree with you there. Which is why I dyed them.
