Dude there's not a single character in the game that doesn't go crazy and/or betray people at one point or another. Booker and Elizabeth included. (...And actually I can't think of anyone that doesn't die either.)

Part of the point of the two factions is that extremism is never good, even when the original ideals aren't necessarily a bad thing. That's how Bioshock has always been--it's always had shades of grey. There's never any "good" guys in these games.

(Plus, it's hard for Daisy to really "betray" you when she's already seen you die and didn't make the deal with you in the first place because that's a Daisy from another universe, so...)
