I watched a few episodes of it and I might try to do the whole series once exam seasons over.
I really would recomend both, although I love Whitechapel just that bit more.

I'd really recommend it. I wasn't wowed by the first couple of episodes, and was watching more because it was mildly entertaining and I felt like watching some TV. But a little further in, I found myself being drawn in, and if there's a second series - which I feel there's definitely scope for - I'll be watching. I really love the main cast, the feel of the time and so on.

Just wikipedia'd Whitechapel, and I plan to watch that too now. :D

My Mad Fat Diary... I'm interested in the mental health aspect and all, but it seems like it would be too 'teenagers and their friends' for me. Which is not my interest at all.

Anyway, good luck with your exams, and if you do watch Ripper Street, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on it. ^_^
