I think I might be in the minority on this, but I loved White Noise starring Michael Keaton. It's one of the very few movies to ever scare me.

The others that scared me have already been mentioned and I'm seconding the 1963 version of The Haunting and both versions of The Vanishing. I also really liked The Ring but haven't gotten around to seeing Ringu yet.
