Oh yeah! I wanted to ask you guys to share images that you find haunting or resonating or just cool for reasons you can't quite articulate. I have a lot of them and trying to sort them tonight has made me wonder if other people do and what they would be.

This one is haunting (har-har) and resonating for me. It's purportedly a photo of a couple of ghosts on the Tulip Staircase in the Queen's House at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, England.

It reminds me of all those ghost story books I had such fun reading when I was ten years old or so. Of all the supposed ghost photos I've seen, this is the one that I've always remembered, even if it is (likely) a fake.

I was wearing some homestuck closet cosplay earlier but now I'm just wearing sweatpants and a pink shirt.

I still have the makeup on though. Because. I wear makeup when I'm sitting around at home.

I don't blame you. If I spent all that time (I barely have patience for lipgloss) putting on cosplay makeup it would definitely hang around for a lot longer than necessary. ;)

Was there an event or did you just feel like dressing up as a character today?

Actually, I had planned on just wearing makeup for fun but then I thought hey, I have a wig, I have a scarf--I'm gonna go all out. My cat even posed with me. Which was great because the character in question is Roxy and for those who don't know, she has some black cats.

Rugby shirt and blue jeans.

Not the fanciest, but staying on a farm in the middle of nowhere doesn't exactly call for dressing up.

I'm wearing a green t-shirt and jeans, and grey socks. I was wearing a black and white polka dot cardigan earlier but it warmed up.

Cutex ad, 1944. I collect vintage ads and propaganda art, especially WWII era stuff (and if it's about WWII AND food, doubly so!).

Richard III by dipthatpen. I could post a fuckton of Shakespeare related art I've saved, or photos from other productions, but I'll just go with this one because I just adore dipthatpen's Shakespeare art and comics. Go follow them because they rock.

Purple pajamas because it's almost time for bed. Also underwear.

My very cozy fleece pj pants (black with white clouds and pink stars and moons) undershirt, my oversize black sweater, and my big, ugly, purple fleece robe that my mom made me.

And fuzzy socks and slippers.

I'm wearing a red nightshirt that says "With a shirt like THIS, who needs pants?" I am not wearing pants.

One of those long shirts that fall to the knees and brown trousers. The shirt is white with orange frills and things. My hijab today is creamy white with a brown border and flowers along the border.

I'm wearing khakis.
