Oh, yeah, Red vs Blue is one for me too, though I tend to stick to more family friendly shows with my parents. Good luck with getting your dad to watch it. :)

When I was a kid I watched all the Disney movies with Dad. The first time I ever watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail was with him, ♥ I watched it so many times after that I had all the lines memorized. Those are some of my best memories, and even now watching something for the first time is always better if he's there too.

Honestly it's difficult to say, mostly despite its flaws(and it does have them.) I just really loved all the characters. Same thing happened when the sequel came out. I've written more fanfic(All AUs of various types.) finished, and unfinished for LE than I have anything else. The fandom tiny as it is is great too, but I really would love a huge crazy one.

Aw, that's lovely. The memories I have of watching certain shows with people are also some of my best ones, and it's even more so with films, much to the point where watching films alone makes me feel sad. Are you both just busier now, if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you for answering my question. That sounds awesome to me, especially the part about it being inspiring and having characters you love. I think I'll start watching it tonight, which won't make a huge crazy fandom, but might mean an increase of one. :)

I think the main thing is I don't live at home anymore. We still watch stuff together, but it's not the same when I was just doing something in my room, and hear Dad shout "Hey I bought (insert name here) today! You want to watch it?"
