Oops, David H kind of hits you over the head with his acting, so you think it's good. But there's no subtlety. His portrayal of a woman when he was in Cadman's body was almost insulting. I liked the character and DH but I could never understand why people thought the character was so brilliant. I think people identified with the geek/nerd Rodney and didn't look beyond that to see what a jerk he could really be to those around him.

I think most of us (except the parts of fandom who did extreme Rodney whump) were aware what kind of bastard McKay is. He's one of those characters that are really entertaining on screen but you'd probably punch if you met them.

No almost about the insulting. Terrible acting job on DH's part.

And Rodney would be a nightmare to work with in real life. Someone would have him up in front of HR at least once a week for either harassment or hostile workplace environment.
