OP... look, there's a certain amount of self policing with tumblr. If you don't like what someone is saying (and dude... WOW, that's over the top) don't follow them. Block them. The easy answer is don't go into the tags but you can if you just make liberal use of that ignore/block feature.

Once you find some folks that are of the kind of mindset you are about your fandom, you'll be just fine. I promise.
