A number of years ago, I came across a rather brilliant individual who was blasting a popular song as "heterosexist" because the female singer mentioned desiring male attention. I asked, "what if the singer is only interested in men?" And she said, "well she should mention the women who are attracted to her anyway to make it fair!"
