I love Carol because she's a survivor. She survived Ed, she survived losing her child, she's surviving the ZA. She was abused by her husband for years, it took time after he died for her to find her own identity after that. She slowly became more and more confident. Now, she's taking out zombies and telling Andrea to kill the Governor in his sleep. But, at the same time, she's still nurturing and goodhearted. She seems to take care of Judith more than anyone else does.

Not that it matters, but I think Maggie and Michonne are awesome too. Beth isn't developed enough for me to have an opinion on her. I liked Andrea in seasons 1 & 2. I had high hopes for her. Then, season 3 happened.
