I got paid today, and I want to get a premium account for these two casting websites and I don't know how to verify my bank account on paypal (I don't have a credit card).

I'm thinking of just using my grandma's mastercard and paying her back in cash +$50 because I god damn love her. I was going to visit her all weekend anyway. Plus, there are these roles available and one of them is closed on Sunday, so I don't have time to wait however many business days it takes to verify my bank.

What is this ranty confused post

I have no idea how that business works, but you pay people to what exactly... put your profile up so you maybe get a role?

Yes, it gets me noticed and enables me to post photos, post video/audio (if you're a musician), book appointments for auditions, etc. I've scored roles through one of the websites. It's $4 /month.

There is one that's a bit more expensive, but it was recommended to me by a friend of mine who's been in the business for over 10 years and she got to meet a lot of the crew behind Warm Bodies while it was still in production. Another friend of mine, also an actor on that website, has worked with Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey, Farrah Fawcett, and loads of others.

Ah. okay. It sounds like it's legit then... Like I said, have no idea.

It's basically they transfer an amount to your bank account (this can take 2 days or something) and in the reason for transfer there will be a number which you need to state in the verification thingy.

I don't know if it was a glitch or something, but I definitely couldn't verify my account with the number before the two days were over and it would appear on my account statement, even though I could check the number through online banking already.

Since it sounds like you're in a hurry to get things up, you could always run out quick and get a prepaid and just pay the websites directly? (Unless they only take paypal?)

I don't have a credit card either... I set up my paypal via my bankaccount. So it is possible to do so. Just take time.
