Personally, I keep watching (unless it is really really bad) cause I have seen so many TV shows with bad eps before that either ended up being important to the overall plot and plodding through the ep once is preferable to spending a bunch of time completely confused next ep wtf is happening or the ep is bad, but it has one glorious scene not necessarily related to the plot of the ep itself that somewhat redeems it for me. And well, no way to know what scenes are gonna work for you until you see it. I don't trust overall fandom opinion seeing as I've seen people go crazy for scenes I thought were dull and completely ignore scenes I thought were amazing.
