:( I've been there with other fandoms and it sucks. For a while it might be enough, but eventually it gets old reading fic you don't like or aren't too invested in. Maybe after the next movies the fandom will get some new blood and it'll help things. Doubtful though, considering how huge the fandom already is and how widespread certain characterizations seem to be.

Yeah. It's more likely that by then I'll have lost some of my intolerance and will go wading back in.
