I want to buy the game, but I remember reading that Skyrim for the PS3 becomes unplayable/broken after a certain point.

Is this still an issue? If there are problems still, do you think it's still worth it?
(please don't tell me to buy PC version, my computer can't play it.)

Really? This is the first I've heard of it. I haven't had many problems with my game beyond the usual mild Bethesda bugs, and most of the ones I've come across have already been dealt with via the regular updates.

Hi, I have the PS3 version and I've put about 700 hours into it. :D

It's a little buggier than the other versions of the game, but the memory lag issue has been almost completely eliminated.

Generally after about 50+ hours of gameplay on a character you'll start experiencing minor lag during really processing-heavy areas and sometimes I've had the game freeze while loading a high-level save from the title screen(lvl 50+) (the easy fix for the save issue if this happens is to load up a lower level char, then load higher level char).

I would definitely not say it's 'broken' anymore as the lag issue is now fairly minor, and if you're anything like most players you'll be making new characters faster than you can get to a large enough save file to run into it.

I ended up finding an auction for a new one on ebay for $23~ whooo

I've just really been wanting that WOWish/huge quests experience without the annoying players so this sounds perfect.
