Depo-provera completely stops menstruation in over half the women using it at one year, and the rate goes up to nearly 70% after two years of usage. A hormone IUD can also lead to a reduced or stopped period. In addition, the regular every day pill can also be used to skip periods (by skipping the placebo week and immediately continuing on a new strip).
Of course, all these methods have their own pro and cons and it is hard to know what will work for you. But if you are interested, it is something you can bring up to your doctor.
