Thanks! Yeah, we're all still kind of stunned. It's been a roller coaster the last few years. We were told he'd stopped responding to chemo, it had spread too aggressively, and that the stem cell transplants were just to prolong. It was never supposed to actually cure him. For the first week after we got the news, I did nothing but laugh and cry.

So yep, now, unless we're specifically told someone dies in cancer canon, I choose to believe they get second chances. Hope is the watchword.
