(Not a contradiction of terms! Atheism refers to believes - it's my personal belief that there isn't a deity. However, as there isn't absolute evidence that there is, and indeed, absolute evidence in anything scientific is... well, not scientific, that also includes the agnostic tag. It's also very possible to be an agnostic theist, as well as a non-agnostic atheist or theist, where the person believes wholeheartedly that there is or is not a deity, never mind the evidence.)

Can I give you a hug for this? I find myself explaining it to people all the damn time.

I've been tempted to print out pamphlets, heh. "So, you're about to ask 'but you can't be agnostic and an atheist at the same time!'" or something...
