I think often non anime people feel like ... their secrets won't get any attention. So a reminder every now and then isn't a bad idea.

I can understand that, but the execution of that reminder is crucial, and #28 kind of fell short in that area. Especially with their last sentence.

True. But I've seen some with no insults in it at all and it still got 'oh poooooor youuuuuuuu' comments.

then maybe they should do something about it instead of whining? why is it anime fans fault there are more anime secrets than non-anime? why is it up to us to help create this atmosphere of equality while they sit on their hands and bemoan their lot in life?

and for the record, I've seen plenty of non-anime secrets get PLENTY of attention so that falls a little flat as an excuse.

I wouldn't say it's the anime people's fault. I read it more as a 'NON ANIME PEOPLE WHY DONT YOU POST!!!' thing.
