Which fictional characters look like your parents?

Julia Roberts (and consequently anyone she appears in) has the same sort of face shape, but particularly the wide, fleshy lips. Fran Fine has the same squinty eyes and eye shape, as well as the big, poofy hair (if a lot more stylish).

My dad looked like a mountain man, so...

I've always associated Julie Andrews with my mother, mostly because my mother always has her hair short.


And not that he was a fictional person, but I'd like to note that my father looks very much like Jesus. (The computer - simulated version of what he actually probably looked like, not the skinny white boy in paintings.)

Can't think of any that look like my mom, but back when All In The Family was in its first run, my dad and Mike Stivik were dead ringers for each other.

Dad and Rob Reiner have aged differently, but back when they were both in their 20s? Twins.

You know the mom from 'Shaun of the Dead'? She looks and acts very much like mine. It's kind of creepy.

I just realized a few months ago that my mom looked eerily similar to Sigourney Weaver when she was younger. She essentially had the Ripley haircut when I was a kid, and their face shapes and features are really close. Given the number of times I watched Aliens growing up, I'm not sure how it took me this long to realize.

My dad is the spitting image of Raven from Tales of Vesperia. Same skin color, eye color, hair and style. Not to mention his personality.

But he'll never know.

My dad looked eerily like Colonel Ives and Nicholas Rush as played by Robert Carlyle, which creeps me out a bit because I happen to drool a little bit over some other characters Carlyle plays. And then I remember that the resemblance vanishes when Carlyle plays someone clean shaven--he's got a chin, which is what my dad wore a mountain-man beard and mustache to hide the lack of, and my dad had a little narrow mouth, the opposite of Carlyle, who kind of looks like the top of his head might fall off when he grins. And when my mom was young she used to look a lot like Eowyn as played by Miranda Otto.

This is absolutely not true when he's wearing a suit, but Don Draper in an undershirt always instantly reminds me of my dad. Jon Hamm somehow looks and carries himself very differently when Don's at home, casual, and not in his workplace suit of armor. It's one of the things that made me realize how good an actor he is.

Rick Grimes reminds me of my dad from certain angles. It's mostly how he has his hair and how he dresses, but it's annoying because I'm so attracted to Rick but the similarity creeps me out. :-/
