What are the fandom's favourite characters who you don't personally like or outright dislike?

Stiles Stilinski

Enjolras
Loki--every single 'verse and incarnation
Draco Malfoy

While I like most Lokis I know, it's true they're pretty overrated. And when the bullshit they do is glossed over because they're pretty, that's just the worst. I like my Lokis fucked up, thank you.

I wouldn't mind so much if there wasn't MASSES of fic for Enjolras. (Usually slashfic with Grantaire.)

Sometimes I want to read about other characters, you know?

Danny Phantom's evil future self. (I don't even know what name we've collectively decided to give him.) And that's mostly because of people who woobify the guy when - I mean, are we even looking at the same character here? There is literally nothing in the character or the story that even slightly lends itself to woobification or 'oh he's just misunderstood'.

Mary Crawley. I try. But I just can't deal with characters who are that uninterested in anything except their own problems.

I can understand that. For me, a big factor is if said self-absorbed character is whiny about it. If they're whiny, I'm out.

Makes me feel like a bad Fire Emblem fan to say I am not particularly fond of Henry, whom everyone seems to love, even people who dislike the game. (I am cool with strongly disliking of Tharja.) And Donnel too, for that matter.

Oh well. Going without a default Dark Mage isn't that big a deal.

Isshin Kurosaki from Bleach. People have been excited about/looking forward to the backstory we're getting now, and talking about how awesome he is, but I dislike him. Always have. At first he was over-the-top-annoying but tolerable, then we learned he was a shinigami and I just found it really weird how he's told Ichigo NOTHING before now about ANYTHING.

I get that parents keep things from their children for their own good, but Ichigo was getting strange powers, fighting carnivorous monsters, invading alternate dimensions and fighting ridiculously powered shinigami, and getting into a war between worlds. And Isshin kept silent instead of at least telling Ichigo he's half-shinigami or offering help/advise/training and instead let him go off to face pain and death.

I don't care how awesome his powers are, he's a negligent father.

a bit OT, but I actually started writing an AU fic where Isshin was an abusive father. I even liked the guy at that point, but for some reason, he just fell into that role so easily and I was never really sure why. I think you might've hit on the reason for it, though :|a

Kaworu Nagisa.

I don't dislike him, but I am pretty indifferent toward him. I don't find his character very interesting or his relationship with Shinji.

Derpy/Ditzy Doo. All of the background ponies, honestly.

Liara T'soni. While not a bad character, I'm just tired of BioWare AND fandom's love of her.

Basically, all of the Migratory Slah Fandom's biggest darlings except Stiles and Tony Stark. I love Stiles and Tony.

Xander Harris, Buffy after season 5

Tavros. Everyone I know loves him and my reaction to him is "whatever" at best. I don't hate him, but I find him so astoundingly boring that I honestly couldn't care less if he never showed up in the comic again.

Also, I do not give a flying fuck about Bro and I scratch my head at why everyone loves him so much.
