Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by that. It has been confirmed that Connor is the older brother and was written that way. And I think that most people assumed that because of the writing and the way he was played by Flanery, not because of Norman.. Connor is fiercely protective and focused on his brother, he's the one who makes sure that Murphy is okay before jobs, etc. So the idea that Murphy is the younger brother is more of an extension of "Connor = older brother", not the other way around.

Duffy has been saying it both ways for years. It's like his own little amusement to change it back and forth.

Huh, really. I didn't know that, so thank you for telling me. I guess that particular interpretation just fits with the way I see Connor as being written and acted.
