What is the best fanfiction you have ever read in your entire life, regardless of fandom? Link what you think is the best out there!

I don't know if this is the the best fanfic 'EVER' - but it's the only one I've read that completely changed my opinion, and how I view a character, completely. [For the better, I might add.]

I haven't even been in this fandom for years, but anything written by Sukunami for FF8 (http://doushi-sumeragi.net/fanfic/index01.htm) is basically instant addiction and love for me. "Blind Sight" is probably my number one fic of all time.

Sadly she seems to have left writing fanfics, due to real life. WHich I understand but it's sad. :C

Observations, hands down. Long, plotty Spock-POV story that is better than, like, anything.

(And this is even though I'm not a big fan of 1st person, and 1st-person Spock usually sucks.)

The popularity of that fic probably explains why I left Star Trek fandom.

Not that it was awful or anything, but it was so...overhyped. I couldn't see myself spending days to read something I was meh about to begin with, but everybody fucking loved it. Talk about annoying. :/

I don't think this fic exists anymore but there was this "so bad it's good" fic where a Mary Sue falls in love with Frank Lampard. OMG It made no sense, but it was AMAZING. Two of my friends and I were reading it whilst chatting on MSN Messenger, one of the funnest nights of my life. Although, I did feel kind of bad because English probably was not the writer's first language.

Fallout: Equestria.

Hell, it's better than a lot of published books I've read. Though I'm only seventeen so that'll probably change. There are a lot more books for me to read, and I plan to discover the secret of immortality so I can eventually read them all.

(My teacher let me do a book report on FoE. I got a 100.)
