reading about that grindr controversy a while back - http://www.queerty.com/is-grindr-banning-trans-profiles-20110104/ - it seemed to me like most trans people (gay ftm, anyway) already assume your opinion's shared by a very big chunk of the population. thus the importance of disclosing their status when looking for casual sex.
