Most of the commenters are anon, and most of the nameds are socks. Not seeing the problem with people giving their signs. If someone asked folks to post a screenshot of their house on google maps, then we'd have a problem.

Lets set aside IP tracking, and focus on just the sockaccounts.

-> First name
-> Age
-> Job
-> Location
-> Race
-> Month, or day of birth
-> Communities or interests they've expressed an interest in

How many regs could you have all this information for? Especially over a year or so.

Now add that to anything else attached to the e-mail account they used to create their sock, which obviously isn't a guarantee but is more common than you would expect.

Not that you can see IP tracking from FS (maybe case can, IDK anymore), and you can't necessarily see the email of the sock DW -- and whose to say that's not a sock account, either?

In short, while I think you make a good point about some of the information I've seen freely shared around these parts, this bit just seems like rampant paranoia.
